Paul Ecke Central Elementary
Dual Language / Garden Science
Paul Ecke Central Elementary School is a welcoming and academically focused learning community located in the heart of Leucadia. The school prioritizes academic growth and social-emotional development, using instructional practices that support students’ individual needs while fostering curiosity, collaboration, and problem-solving.
Paul Ecke Central offers a Spanish-English Dual Language Immersion program (lottery-based) that supports students in becoming bilingual, biliterate, and culturally aware. Students also participate in enrichment instruction in STEM, yoga, garden education (including caring for our school chickens), TRAC (social-emotional learning), and music. Hands-on, experiential learning continues at the district’s Farm Lab, where academic concepts are reinforced through real-world exploration.
A strong sense of community is central to the PEC experience. Families, staff, and local partners actively support the school through volunteering, enrichment programming, and long-standing traditions that enhance school culture. Paul Ecke Central is committed to preparing students to be capable learners, responsible community members, and confident participants in their future academic journeys.
