At El Camino Creek Elementary School, we are educating for the future and creating a path for tomorrow’s innovative, creative problem-solvers. We believe every child should begin and end each day at ECC with a smile, feel valued, and have the right to be safe—both emotionally and physically. As lifelong learners, we provide time for collaboration among teachers, students, and parents because we know that partnership leads to success.

Through our educational programs and enrichment opportunities, we implement and assess a comprehensive curriculum founded on communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and student engagement. We treat others with respect, value forward thinking and action, and uphold the principles of democracy. Our focus on student leadership is framed through a civics lens.

El Camino Creek was recognized as a 2023 California Distinguished School and received the 2018 California State Civics Learning Award of Excellence. We also emphasize the visual and performing arts, partnering with CoTA to provide sustained arts-integrated lessons in every classroom, as well as professional development for our faculty and workshops for parents.
